Below the Blossoms
Today may have been the most beautiful day we've had in Copenhagen this Spring. School was closed because today is Great Prayer Day in Denmark. I was definitely thanking God for letting me enjoy the day outside.
In Bispebjerg (the area of Copenhagen I live in) there is a giant cemetery that many people enjoy strolling through, especially during the short weeks that the cherry blossoms are in bloom. There are long walkways canopied by the trees that everyone walks under. When the wind blew some of the blossoms would float down and it was like a dream world. Looking up through the trees was especially beautiful to see the pink against the vibrant blue sky. I relaxed in the cemetery for quite a while reading and actually got some color on my skin (also thanking God for that).
